A Black Shark device surfaced on the database on the Google Play Console towards the end of January. The smartphone has the codename ‘Kaiser’.
The listing revealed the model number of the handset as KSR-A0.
Last weekend, another Black Shark handset with the code name ‘Penrose’ appeared as the Google Play Console. The phone has the model number PSR-A0.
Meanwhile, claims suggest that the Kaiser device will launch as the Black Shark 4 and the Penrose smartphone as the Black Shark 4 Pro.
The weird thing about the Google playlisting of the PSR-A0 handset is that it features the Snapdragon 865 mobile platform – the same chipset that arrived with last year’s Black Shark phones.
Surprisingly, the Kaiser phone appeared with the old Snapdragon 835 processor. It seems that the name of the chipset mentioned for both smartphones on Google Play Console is incorrect as speculations claim that they would feature the Snapdragon 888 SoC.
The alleged Black Shark 4 Pro smartphone would come pre-loaded with Android 10 OS alongside 12GB of RAM.
The image of the phone shows that it could arrive with a display with a top-centre positioned punch-hole.
For now, the size of the screen is unknown. However, the listing mentions that the handset has a 20:9 aspect ratio, and it offers a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.
