Close to the end of March, Xiaomi announced the Lite 4G and Lite 5G connectivity variants of the Xiaomi Mi 11 smartphone.
Meanwhile, the Chinese smartphone maker didn’t launch the Lite 4G variant of the phone for India yet.
However, there is a Telegram channel – MIUI Updates Tracker – that automatically monitors MIUI ROM releases. And the ROM for the upcoming Indian model of the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 4G has surfaced on the channel.
The platform revealed that the phone would arrive with the V12.0.4.0.RKQINXM – a stable version of the MIUI designed for the Xiaomi Mi Lite 4G based on Android 11 OS.
A tweet by Xiaomi India’s Marketing Lead hints at the arrival of the Xiaomi Mi 11 4G Lite and confirms the speculations around the handset.
The tweet has some missing letters. And when filled, it shows that the Mi 11 Lite 4G will arrive as a ‘’Lite & Loaded’’ smartphone.
Specifications of the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 4G
The handset sports a 90Hz Full HD+ AMOLED panel that measures 6.55-inches. The phone weighs 157 grams, has a thickness of 6.81mm, and an IP53 dustproof build.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 4G comes with a 16-megapixel front-facing camera and a triple-camera setup on the rear.
The rear camera system comprises a 64-megapixel primary snapper, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 5-megapixel macro sensor.
Inside, the Snapdragon 732G processor controls the affairs of the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 4G. It offers the user up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
Further, the device draws power from a 4,250mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging; and it has a side-facing fingerprint scanner.
The device comes in colour options like blue, pink, and black.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 4G costs 299 euros (~$365, ~Rs25,600).
